social media plays a role in mental health, being socially connected can relieve stress and depression, can boost self-worth, and prevent loneliness. on the other side lacking social connections can be a serious risk to your mental and emotional health. Social media has some positive and negative aspects. Some negative aspects include FOMO, isolation, depression and anxiety, self-absorption and cyberbullying.
